Terms of Service

Effective October 10, 2026. By creating an account or using Timberline, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

The service

Timberline helps logging businesses review delivery records, maintain rate agreements, reconcile mill credits, and prepare settlement statements. You are responsible for checking source documents, extracted fields, units, rates, payees, and amounts before confirming or approving records. AI reading can make mistakes. Settlement approval records an obligation; it does not send a bank payment, provide tax advice, or verify that a payment occurred.

Accounts and records

You must have authority to use the workspace and upload its records. Keep your sign-in credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access. You own the business records you upload and allow Timberline and its providers to process them to operate the service. Do not upload unlawful content, misuse another workspace, interfere with the service, or bypass usage limits. Approved settlements preserve the values reviewed at approval; corrections use linked adjustments.

Trial, billing, and cancellation

The plan is $99 per workspace per month in USD, plus applicable taxes. Each new workspace starts with a 14-day trial with no card required. The trial does not automatically charge you. A paid subscription starts only when you complete checkout. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel from Billing; access continues through your paid period. View and export access remains available after the trial or subscription ends. Payments already made are not automatically refunded; contact support about a billing error. We will communicate price changes before they affect your renewal.

Availability and limits

The service may be interrupted for maintenance, provider outages, or security issues. Keep exported copies of important statements. The plan permits 100 document uploads per workspace per day, 15 MB per file, and 20 pages per PDF. We may suspend access for abuse, nonpayment, or a material violation of these terms and will provide notice when reasonably possible.

Responsibility and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, Timberline is provided as available without a promise that every extraction or calculation will fit your circumstances. You retain responsibility for the agreements and payments your business makes. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for claims related to the service is limited to subscription fees you paid for the affected workspace during the preceding 12 months. This does not exclude liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Contact support first so we can try to resolve a dispute. You can stop using the service, cancel billing, and request deletion of your workspace. We may update these terms and will notify account holders of material changes before they take effect.
